What is rebounding?
Rebounding is a form of exercise that involves jumping on a mini fitness trampoline, known as a rebounder

Is rebounding low impact?
Yes, the mat absorbs the impact of landing, while the bungee cords provide a gentle bounce. This design reduces stress on the joints, compared to jumping on a hard floor

Is rebounding safe for everyone?
While generally safe, those with back or spinal conditions such as pinched nerves, osteoporosis or sciatica should consult with their doctor before rebounding.


Can children rebound?
Yes, rebounding is a great activity for children, promoting coordination, balance and physical fitness.

Can I rebound with injuries such as knee injuries?
Rebounding can be a good rehabilitation exercise for some injuries due to its low-impact nature, as well as building muscles around the injured area, but it is crucial to get clearance from your doctor first!

Can I rebound when I'm pregnant?
Since rebounding strengthens your pelvic floor muscles, it can be beneficial for pregnant women to rebound, however pregnant women always need to clear all exercises with their health care provider and GP. 

How soon after having a baby can I rebound again?
Usually women can get back to slow exercises from six to eight weeks, but it is crucial to get clearance from you doctor before starting with any exercises

Do I need special shoes to rebound?
While some prefer barefoot or non-slip socks, people with knee injuries tend to find shoes more comfortable as shoes give more support. It's best to try both options and see what works better for you!

Can rebounding help with weight loss?
Yes! Rebounding is one of the best exercises for fat loss, as well as building muscle as you use every muscle in the body. Remember that a healthy diet also plays a role with weight loss and works hand-in-hand with exercise!

How often should I rebound?
Although there is no set deadline, we recommend 3-4 times a week for the best results.

Are there any side effects of rebounding?
It is completely normal to experience nausea and a headache when just starting out as that's part of the body's detoxing process. Your calves will also hurt when just starting out.
For most women, it might feel like you're leaking, which is also completely normal especially after giving birth, rebounding helps strengthen all your pelvic floor muscles and after a few months it won't happen anymore!
